Blissko somatic bodywork session, Bruges
The name

Already
here.

The ease, joy, and fullness you're looking for isn't far away. It doesn't require perfect conditions. Bliss isn't something you earn. It's something you come home to — and home is closer than you think.

blissEnglish · a state of complete joy and contentment
bliskoPolish · close, near, already here

"It's blisko. Already alive in your body, waiting for you to stop bracing long enough to feel it."

The real problem

You're not
broken.
You're
braced.

"Years of capability, performance, staying one step ahead — your body registered every single one of them."

There's a difference. It changes everything.

Most wellness spaces assume you need fixing. That assumption is already wrong. You don't need to do less, want less, or become someone quieter. You need your nervous system to stop holding on so hard — which is a completely different problem, with a completely different solution.

Your body knows how to rest. It just forgot it's safe.

The jaw that doesn't unclench even on holiday. The sleep that doesn't fully restore. The Sunday evening dread that starts on Saturday afternoon. These aren't character flaws. They're a nervous system that learned to brace and never got the memo that it was allowed to stop.

The medicine isn't doing less. It's holding more.

Clarity on a weekday morning when it used to take all weekend. Vitality that doesn't run on cortisol. Spaciousness in a difficult meeting. Not instead of ambition — alongside it. That's the work.

"You lie down fully clothed. That's it. That's your only job. Everything else comes to you."

Three things you walk out with

Not concepts.
Felt outcomes.

These aren't taglines. They're what changes in the body when the nervous system finally has enough room to reorganise.

Clarity

The noise quiets — not because you solved anything, but because your body stopped broadcasting emergency. Decisions feel cleaner. The right things become obvious again when you need them most.

Vitality

Not the performance of energy. The actual thing: waking up without dreading the day, moving through it without cortisol, ending it with something left in the tank.

Spaciousness

Room for all of it — the ambition and the softness, the doing and the being. You stop choosing between who you are at work and who you are at home.

What actually happens

A session in
your body.

You don't need to know anything coming in. Here's what the experience feels like — in the room, on the futon, in the hours after.

1

You arrive as you are

A few minutes to talk about what you're carrying today. Nothing prepared, nothing performed.

2

You lie down, fully clothed

That's your only job. Comfortable clothes you can breathe in. Everything else comes to you.

3

I work through touch and breath

In Bodywork: gentle movement, pressure, rocking. In Breathwork: connected breathing that moves what the mind alone can't reach.

4

Things come through

You might cry, shake, feel warmth or nothing at all. All of it is welcome. I stay with you throughout.

5

You leave differently

Lighter, usually. Slower. More spacious. Sleep is often deeper that night. The work keeps moving once it starts.

"Her touch was intuitive and soulful, gently guiding my body back into balance. I left feeling lighter, aligned, and deeply connected to myself."

Not sure which one your body needs right now?

Is this for you?

The right fit
matters to
both of us.

Knowing who this work is for — and who it isn't — saves both of us time and means the session actually lands.

This is for you if...

  • You've tried therapy, yoga, coaching — and something still won't shift.
  • You feel it in your body: the tightness, the not-sleeping, the not-resting.
  • You're willing to let your body lead, not just your thinking.
  • You want to feel more, not think through more.
  • You're ready to receive without earning it.

This is not for you if...

  • You're in active psychological crisis or have recently been hospitalised for mental health reasons. This work complements therapy — it doesn't replace it. Please speak to your therapist or GP first, and I'm happy to discuss whether timing feels right.
  • You want to think through your patterns rather than feel through them. That's what good therapy is for.
  • You're hoping one session resolves something that's been building for years.
What clients say
"With Zuzanna I immediately felt at ease. Her warm, calm, and welcoming presence made it all possible. And what a feeling afterwards — I felt deeply relaxed, a kind of blissful sensation that stayed with me."
Alicia — Bodywork client
"After just one session my sleep became deeper and my body more relaxed. When sleep is better, the mind is calmer and the world more colorful. I didn't expect it to work that fast."
Ania — Breathwork client
"It felt like more than bodywork — it was a deeply grounding and healing experience. Her touch was intuitive and soulful, gently guiding my body back into balance. I left feeling lighter, aligned, and deeply connected to myself."

About Zuzanna

I crossed the
same
threshold.

Senior manager, two kids, morning rush, the whole thing. The version of me who trained in somatic bodywork didn't leave corporate life — she's still in it. When you walk in, I don't theorize about your life. I recognize it.

Zuzanna, somatic bodywork therapist Bruges
The story

Before I
learned to
listen.

I started in my body.

As a child I was pure movement: dancing, swimming, acrobatics because I couldn't sit still. Somewhere along the way I learned to live in my head. I moved into a corporate career, got very good at being capable, and got very far from myself. The signs were there: a jaw that didn't unclench even on holiday, shoulders that lived somewhere near my ears, a body I pushed through rather than inhabited. I didn't know I was braced. That was just baseline.

Motherhood brought me back.

Pregnancy and birth returned me to my body in a way nothing else had. Watching my body create and nourish life filled me with awe for what I'd been disconnected from. The researcher in me wanted to understand it. The woman in me just wanted to stay there.

Training changed what I understood.

My Holosomatic® Bodywork training gave me language for what I'd experienced and the tools to offer it to others. Not as a guru who left everything behind — as someone still inside the same life you're navigating, who found a way to do it that doesn't cost her everything.

Now I work with women standing where I stood.

The science fascinates me — how the nervous system holds patterns, how breath changes the body. But intellectual understanding was never enough. Transformation happened when my body finally felt safe enough to soften. That's what I help create.

Why this is different

What sets
this work
apart

01

You're not broken. You're braced.

Most wellness spaces work from the assumption that you need fixing. I don't. Broken and braced require entirely different things, and working from the wrong assumption is why so many well-intentioned approaches don't actually land.

02

I know your world from the inside.

I'm still in corporate life — senior manager, pharmaceutical company, the performance reviews, the team dynamics, the full working week. I trained in somatic bodywork while doing this job, with two kids. I'm not offering you escape from your life. I'm offering you a way to be in it differently.

03

The medicine is expansion, not reduction.

This work doesn't ask you to want less. Nervous system expansion means you hold more — ambition and rest, presence at work and presence at home. Not instead of. And.

04

Nothing gets lost in translation.

Sessions in Dutch, English, and Polish. Your body's language doesn't need a translator — but sometimes it helps when your practitioner speaks yours.

You lie down fully clothed. That's your only job. I bring movement to you: Zenthai Shiatsu supported stretches, gentle pressure along your body's meridians, rhythmic rocking that teaches your body what "safe" actually feels like when you're not earning it.

The breathwork here is whisper-soft. Optional invitations. Nothing to achieve. Everything moves at the pace of your nervous system deciding it's finally okay to let go.

This session is for you if:

  • Rest sounds like a foreign language and the second you try, your mind hijacks it
  • You're craving something your body barely remembers: being held without earning it
  • Your nervous system is fried and needs restoration, not activation
  • You want to learn how to receive — which is harder than it sounds

"Your body stops being a to-do list and starts being a place you actually want to live in. Rest doesn't feel stolen anymore. It feels like permission."

Conscious connected breathwork combined with intuitive touch. Whatever wants to come through gets to come through — grief stuck in your chest, rage you've been too polite to feel, old stories your tissues have been holding since before you could name them.

I stay with you. My hands follow what your body shows me. No agenda except what your body wants to release. Online sessions follow the same breath with guided self-touch, and the depth is the same.

This session is for you if:

  • You've been holding something so long you forgot it was there — until your body started screaming
  • You're done thinking about it, talking about it. You want it out.
  • You're ready to let your breath take you somewhere your mind would never allow
  • You want Clarity and Vitality, not just temporary relief

"That thing you've been carrying? Lighter. Not because your life changed — because you finally exhaled what you didn't know you were holding."

Before you book

Conscious connected breathwork works with the breath in an active, sustained way. Please read the FAQ before booking if you have epilepsy, glaucoma, or retinal detachment; severe cardiovascular conditions or high blood pressure; bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis; history of aneurysm, stroke, or TIA; advanced COPD; or if you are pregnant. Some conditions require modifications; some are contraindicated. If you're unsure, book a discovery call first and we'll talk it through.

your body needs right now?

  • You're ready for active work where your breath does the heavy lifting

Choose Bodywork if...

  • You need to be held, not activated
  • Your nervous system is fried and needs restoration first
  • You want to learn how to receive without earning it
  • You're craving soft, structural support and genuine spaciousness

You learn to hold
more.

Not a workshop. Not a class. A held space — intentional, intimate — where something different becomes possible when women gather without the usual performance requirements.

Each circle weaves together somatic movement, breathwork, sound, and the practice of expansion — learning to hold more, not manage better. Not concepts to understand but experiences to move through. Together.

What's woven in
Breathwork — line illustration of a face exhaling

Breath

Conscious breath as a way to arrive — not intense work, but breath that shifts the room.

Sound and voice — line illustration of headphones with music notes

Sound & voice

Toning, humming, sounding together. Your voice as vibration your body actually feels.

Somatic movement — line illustration of a woman seated in a grounded pose with hands on her body

Somatic movement

Movement that follows sensation rather than choreography. Your body leads.

Expansion — line illustration of a brain with plants growing inside

Expansion

The capacity to hold everything: ambition and tenderness, doing and being. Not choosing between them. Holding both.

Real connection — line illustration of two open hands facing each other

Real connection

Other women, also learning to hold more. Belonging that doesn't require performance.

Corporate

For teams that
hold everything.

Nervous system regulation isn't a luxury — it's a performance lever. When people can regulate under pressure, they think clearly, connect authentically, and sustain the work. These workshops bring that capacity into your organisation.

The approach

This isn't a
wellness day.
It's different.

Most corporate wellness offers arrive as one-off events that slide off a week later. The nervous system doesn't change through single experiences. It changes through repetition and safety.

These workshops are practical and embodied. No performance, no forced participation. The tools — breath, movement, awareness — are ones people can take into a 9am meeting the very next morning.

There's a pattern I see from the inside that I want to help change. When an organisation goes through a restructuring, a merger, a new system, a reorg, leadership usually gets a coach, sometimes a whole programme built around the transition. Everyone else gets a town hall and a slide on managing change. The people living through the most disruption often get the least support for what it actually does to their body. These tools were never meant to be a leadership perk. If anything, it's the better investment: a department that can regulate together changes how a whole floor operates, not just how one person in a corner office does.

I'm not coming in from the outside. I'm a senior manager in a pharmaceutical company — the performance reviews, the team cascades, the wellbeing surveys nobody reads. I trained in somatic bodywork while doing this job full-time. I speak your language because I'm still inside it.

Clarity

Better decisions under pressure. Less reactive, more responsive. The work targets the nervous system's threat-detection default.

Vitality

Sustainable performance. Not pushing through — actually recovering. Teams that regulate well don't burn out at the rate of teams that white-knuckle it.

Spaciousness

Psychological safety in practice. People who feel safe in their bodies create safer environments, it shows up in how a tense meeting goes, and how quickly a disagreement turns into a conversation instead of a standoff.

Workshop formats

What I can bring
to your team.

All workshops are fully customisable. Contact me to discuss your team's context, size, and what you're working with.

Nervous System Reset

90 min · up to 20 participants

An introduction to the nervous system's role in performance and wellbeing. Practical breath and movement tools people can use immediately. Nobody has to share or perform.

Ideal for: team offsites, lunch-and-learns, wellbeing days

Women's Leadership Session

90 min – 120 min · women-only

For women navigating high-demand leadership roles. Combines the "you don't have to choose" positioning with practical tools for sustainable leadership presence.

Ideal for: women's networks, ERGs, leadership cohorts

Foundations

Half day or full day · for whole departments or mixed-level teams

A department learns the basics of how their body responds to stress and change, and what to actually do about it in the moment, no experience needed. This is the kind of foundation usually reserved for an executive coaching programme, here made available to the people living through the change itself. Half day covers the essentials, full day adds more practice time and goes deeper into the tools.

Ideal for: teams going through restructuring, reorganisation, or any period of major change, and departments who don't usually get this kind of investment

Team Practice Programme

Half day kickoff · then monthly 90 min sessions

Most of what's on this page works as a single event. This is the one built for repetition, because that's how the nervous system actually changes. It starts with the half day Foundations session, then continues monthly, different tools each time, so the toolkit keeps growing instead of fading the way a one-off wellness day usually does.

Ideal for: organisations who want this to actually stick, not just tick a box for the year

Let's talk

Bring this to
your team.

Every workshop is tailored, and I travel to wherever your team is based, in Dutch, English, or Polish. If you organise retreats or offsites in Bruges and want to build this into your programmes, I'd love to talk too.

FAQ

Everything you
need to know.

No such thing as a silly question when you're considering letting someone near your nervous system for the first time.

This is exactly the right question. Therapy works with what you can understand and articulate. Yoga works with the body but often from the outside in. Coaching works with goals and thinking patterns. All valuable. None of it the same as working directly with the nervous system's stored patterns at the level of sensation and breath.

If you've done the thinking work and something still won't shift, it's usually because the body hasn't caught up yet. Somatic work starts where other approaches reach their limit: in the tissue, the breath, the held tension your jaw doesn't release even when your mind understands perfectly well why it should.
If you're asking this question, you probably are. The fact that you're here means something in you is ready for a different approach. You don't need to have it figured out — you just need to be willing to begin. The free discovery call exists precisely for this: we talk about where you are and whether this work fits. No commitment required.
Completely. Many women who come to this work carry some unease around touch. In Bodywork sessions you remain fully clothed throughout and can stop or adjust at any moment. In Breathwork sessions any touch is optional, supportive, and requires your clear permission. We go at your pace. That's not a caveat. That's the practice.
This is normal and often part of the point. Emotions are energy that's been held. When it finally moves, it can feel intense — tears, shaking, laughter, heat, anger, or sometimes nothing at all. All of it is welcome. I stay with you throughout. We can slow down, add grounding touch, pause, or adjust the intensity. You are always in control.
This work is trauma-informed, but I am not a psychologist. If you have complex PTSD, acute trauma, dissociative disorders, or are in active crisis, this bodywork can support therapy but shouldn't replace it. I'll always be honest with you about what I can and can't hold.
Bodywork is receptive and restorative — you lie still, I bring movement and touch to you. It restores and regulates. Breathwork is active and releasing — your breath accesses what's stored beneath the thinking mind. Both work with the nervous system from different directions. The choice often comes down to: do you need to be held and restored, or to move and release?
In-person sessions include hands-on touch during the breathwork. Online sessions use guided self-touch — I direct your hands during the session. The depth is the same; the touch differs. Online is only available for Breathwork, not Bodywork.
Wear comfortable clothes you can breathe and move in. Eat lightly two to three hours before. Come as you are — not your best self, not your most prepared self. For online sessions: a quiet private space, a mat or blanket with pillows, water nearby, and test your connection beforehand. That's all.
Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations under 24 hours are charged at 50%. No-shows are charged in full. If something genuine comes up, let me know — I'm human and I'm flexible.
Yes. Please contact me before booking if you have: epilepsy, glaucoma, or retinal detachment; severe cardiovascular conditions or high blood pressure; bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, OCD, or recent psychiatric hospitalisation; history of aneurysm, stroke, or TIA; advanced COPD, terminal illness, or cancer; or if you are pregnant. Some conditions can be worked around with modifications; others cannot. If you're unsure, book a discovery call first and we'll work it out together.
Bodywork (Zenthai Shiatsu and Touch Therapy) is gentle and passive — you remain fully clothed and receive rather than actively breathe. The main things to flag are acute injuries, recent surgery, or active skin conditions in areas I'd be working. If you're unsure, mention it when you book and we'll adapt.
